I have taken the following photographs over a series of days, starting on 9 January 2006. I will present them in order of the dates of their snapping.
A pink camellia growing in my backyard.
A pink camellia against a dry grain wooden fence flecked with dead moss.
A high detail shot of a small fly on a dewy leaf below a bud.
A particular blossom under dew with likewise dewy leaves.
That exact same shot with a flash.
Oh, God, Light.
Closer much closer.
A bud perfect as crepe.
A blossom dark and beaked.
A crisp, opened bloom.
Spinny Bloom.
